If you are an UpKeep customer, our trainers know UpKeep very well. You’ll be able to give them access to your CMMS and they’ll be able to review and audit your maintenance and reliability practices to give your team direct feedback.

Ricky has worked as a Maintenance Consultant/Educator with hundreds of companies in over 30 countries world-wide.  

He has over 30 years’ experience working as a Maintenance and Reliability  Professional for companies/organizations such as US Army, Exxon Company USA,  Alcoa Mt Holly, Kendall Company, and Life Cycle Engineering. Ricky worked for one of three plants in the world to ever be certified as achieving  “World Class Maintenance” and is commonly making the statement, World Class  Production through World Class Maintenance (Alcoa, Mt Holly) 

Ricky Smith is a well-known Maintenance and Reliability book author, consultant,  and best practices educator. Authoring such books as “Rules of Thumb for  Maintenance and Reliability Engineers”, “Industrial Machinery Repair, “Lean  Maintenance”, “Failure Reporting Made Simple” and many more.  

Ricky is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), a Certified  Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) and a Certified Reliability Leader  (CRL). He is also a certified SMRP Proctor.

Parker Host, a total solutions provider for the maritime industry, specializing in agency services, terminal operations, stevedoring and marine assets. He brings over 10 years of technical knowledge and human centric leadership to the maintenance community.

He is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership, LDP program and Certified Maintenance and reliability Professional. Having served in the US Navy as a flight deck troubleshooter and quality assurance inspector to working for Caterpillar, he loves all things maintenance and leadership.

Dylan Day has 10+ years in the maintenance industry and is a keen and analytical industrial mechanic with a passion for leadership. He has a skillset in welding, structural steel erection, grouting, leveling, alignments, mechanical overhauls, industrial maintenance, and implementing new maintenance programs.  

He has a diverse background in the oil & gas industry, mining, shipbuilding, new construction, renewable energy (wind turbines/hydro power), power generation (steam & gas turbines) and forestry (sawmills, OSB, pulp & paper).

He has a passion for teaching and growing the people around him, he loves a challenge, and he enjoys meeting new people and sharing his passions of maintenance and mechanical systems. He has a positive attitude, is eager to see you succeed, and has high energy in everything he does.

Do you do in person trainings and coaching sessions?

Due to COVID travel restrictions, at this time, we do not offer in person trainings. All coaching sessions are held virtually through Zoom.
